ISSUES

Responsible Spending: Families First

Lowering taxes is essential to ease the financial burden on working families and small businesses. Every dollar saved allows our residents to invest more in their families, homes, and futures. Conservative fiscal responsibility means cutting waste, prioritizing core services, and making government live within its means—just like our families do.

Transparency: Trust Through Accountability

Residents deserve to know how every tax dollar is spent. Open books, clearly show where the money is going – through regular public reporting, audits, and accessible online budgets. Transparency builds trust and ensures elected leaders are accountable to the people they serve. I will advocate for clear, accessible communication, open meetings, and budget transparency—because you should never have to guess what’s happening at City Hall.

Respected Solicitor David Pascoe Endorses Ingrid Centurion for Goose Creek City Council

Ingrid Centurion, candidate for Goose Creek City Council, has received the official endorsement of renowned solicitor and anti-corruption advocate David Pascoe. Pascoe, who is currently running for South Carolina Attorney General, praised Centurion’s integrity, leadership, and unwavering commitment to public service. “Ingrid Centurion represents the integrity, character, and work ethic our community needs,” said Pascoe. “She brings unmatched professionalism, leadership experience, and dedication to serving the people of Goose Creek. I have no doubt she will work tirelessly to ensure fairness, accountability, and smart growth for Goose Creek.” Pascoe, known statewide for his relentless pursuit of government transparency and ethical reform, pointed to Centurion’s distinguished record of service and community involvement as key reasons for his endorsement. He emphasized that Centurion’s candidacy aligns closely with his own values of ethical leadership and responsible governance. Candidate Centurion expressed her appreciation for his endorsement, “It’s an honor to be endorsed by David Pascoe, a true leader in the fight for honest and transparent government in South Carolina. Like him, I believe in putting people first and ensuring our community thrives through accountability and responsible decision-making.”

Strategic Growth: Smart planners not fast developers

Goose Creek is growing, and with that growth comes the need for smart, long-term planning. Without it, we risk overcrowded schools, traffic congestion, and strain on public services. Strategic development means preserving the character of our community while preparing infrastructure, zoning, and public services to meet future needs—efficiently and responsibly.

Community Safety: Protecting What Matters Most – People

Every resident—especially our seniors and children—deserves to feel safe. That means fully supporting law enforcement, investing in public safety resources, and strengthening community programs that deter crime and build resilience. Safety isn’t just a service—it’s a promise.

Endorsement by Robert G. Smith

I am excited to endorse Ingrid Centurion as a Candidate for Goose Creek City Council. As the former CEO of Palmetto Goodwill, now retired, I have had the opportunity to meet and work with Mayors, Councilman and Community Leaders across 18 counties throughout South Carolina. I can say without hesitation that  Ingrid Centurion is one of the most energetic and visionary leaders that I have come across in my experiences.

Ingrid is not only a decorated Army Helicopter Pilot and Officer, she is very involved within our community serving on Boards and committees dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those she advocates for in service. Having witnessed Ingrid in action serving on the Crowfield HOA Board I am impressed with her forward thinking and strategic approach to the growth and sustainability of our Community while maintaining conservative values and fiscal responsibility.

It is my pleasure to endorse Ingrid Centurion as a candidate for Goose Creek City council. I know she will be a tremendous asset to our City. I’d ask that you please take time to visit Ingrid’s web site to see how she embraces important issues facing Goose Creek now and into the future as we continue to see growth and development. Once you see how impactful Ingrid will be as Council Person, I’m confident you will support her as well.

With great admiration,
